Jodi Blasco graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000 hour program. Her health care training began at Douglas College where she studied biology and health sciences. While at Douglas, Jodi was the starting right side on the varsity volleyball team. She left Douglas to enter nursing at BCIT, but decided to seek a health care career that allowed for greater patient interaction and more freedom to provide patient specific treatment plans. As an avid soccer player and sports enthusiast, Dr. Taylor Burkinshaw has always had a keen interest in the sports medical field. Born and raised in South Surrey/White Rock, Dr. Taylor attended UBC’s Food, Nutrition and Health program which complimented his Chiropractic degree attained from The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. While in Toronto, Taylor completed a yearlong Chiropractic internship under two sports chiropractors, and worked extensively with the Ontario Soccer Association.

Dr. Kevin studied Kinesiology during his undergraduate years at the University College of the Fraser Valley while also playing one year of collegiate volleyball and 4 years of basketball. During this time Dr. Kevin was a part of two national basketball championships. He then graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California.

Leah graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapists 3000 hour program in 2008. Prior to that she studied anatomy and physiology, psychology and women’s studies at Langara College. Her Involvement in a variety of sports from competitive soccer to triathlons has given Leah a good understanding of body mechanics and sport injuries. Leah made the decision to become a RMT after she had massage therapy following sports injuries and the treatment significantly improved her recovery. She always has a love for anatomy and physiology making which made massage therapy a natural fit.

Dr. Laura completed an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo before heading to California to graduate from Life Chiropractic College West with honours. Dr. Laura continued her education by studying for multiple years with the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies focusing on neurological applications. She is currently continuing her studies in this field with the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation working towards a Diplomate in Functional Neurology.

Austin graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2022. He played soccer and hockey for 15 years before moving his focus to weightlifting. During his time in the gym, he became fascinated with how the human body moves and works and after injuring himself while lifting, saw an RMT for the first time who helped him recover after months of recurring pain. He knew immediately that he wanted to do the same and help people on their path to recovery, so he switched from his horticulture degree studies to massage therapy and has had no regrets.

Dr. Mark Whiteley received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology while playing College hockey in the US. After a short stint of professional hockey, Dr. Mark returned to school and attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Chiropractic & Sports Emphasis Honors in 2022.

Dr. Mark believes in a multi-disciplinary approach and treats with the combination of diversified adjustments and Active Release Techniques (ART). Dr. Mark is fully ART certified and continues to follow his passion of learning and perfecting his craft.

Away from the clinic, you can find Dr. Mark moving his body through various sports, hiking, biking, and enjoying nature. He enjoys Formula 1, hockey and calls himself a Harry Potter fanatic.
